Wildcat Cove
Our Chuckanut Bay excursion is an excellent choice for those who love nature and adventure. We'll begin with a brief introduction to water safety and equipment before embarking on our journey to explore the diverse wildlife and enchanting coastline in the area. Keep your eyes open for wildlife both above and below the water, in the sky, and on land - it's everywhere! We'll also take some time to explore a few of our favorite spots on shore where we can enjoy a snack and a stroll through the woods.
Sample itinerary (subject to change for varying weather conditions and tide levels):
9:50 am: Arrive at boat launch, find parking and purchase parking pass (if required)
10:00 am: Meet your group and guide at Wildcat Cove (in Larrabee State Park), help unload kayaks.
10:15 am: Gear up, discuss kayak safety, paddling technique, and the day’s route.
10:30 am: On the water! Enjoy the views, explore the coastline, and learn about the plants, animals, and history of the Salish Sea.
11:30 pm: Take a break at one of the many beaches or islands to explore tidepools, wildlife and hiking trails.
12:00 pm: Back in the boats to paddle back to Wildcat Cove.
12:50 pm: Land back in Wildcat Cove. Help your guide load boats and return safety gear.

Half Day at Semiahmoo
On this excursion, we'll spend time exploring the diversity Drayton Harbor. We'll start out with a brief overview of water safety and equipment. After that, we'll board our boats and set out. Keep your eyes open both above and below the water, in the sky and on land, as wildlife abounds in this area! We will take time to do a little on shore exploration at one of our favorite spots and have a little snack while we're on dry ground. Currently these tours are available by special request. Please contact us to book.

10:15am: Gear up, discuss kayak safety, paddling technique, and the day’s route.
10:30am: On the water! Enjoy the views, explore the coastline, and learn about the plants, animals, and history of the Salish Sea.
11:30pm: Take a break at one of the many beaches to explore tidepools, wildlife and stretch your legs.
12:00pm: Back in the boats to paddle back to the beach.
1:00 pm: Land back at Semiahmoo beach. Load boats and return safety gear.
1:15 pm: See you next time!
